Ducks are very skittish creatures. Even with a zoom lens it takes a while to get close enough to photograph them.
Capturing ducks in flight is 50% determination and 50% dumb luck.
Their babies are very tiny and follow their mother everywhere.
Nick saw me looking at your pictures and said, "Birdie!" Then he started pointing to each individual picture and insisting, "Birdie! Birdie? Birdie."
